Tue, Jan 21, 2025 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM (UTC+00:00) Dublin, Edinburgh, Lisbon, London

Join us to learn about practical initiatives, partnerships and tools available to support vulnerable individuals and families this winter.
Our Partnerships Lead, Dave Farquharson, will be joined by key experts in the support sector, including:
-
Peter Smith, Policy Director, National Energy Action
-
Erica Watts, Head of Employment, Skill and Inclusion, SNG (formerly Sovereign)
-
Jill Thompson, Housing & Homelessness Strategy Manager, City of Edinburgh Council
The latest stats show that homelessness is on the rise. With over 123,100 households (including 159,380 children) now living in temporary accommodation and 6 million households in fuel poverty, homelessness and ill-health are real fear for the 1.7 million households expected to go without heating this winter.
Councils and housing associations are under increasing pressure, with many struggling to meet the demand for heating, housing, and food support and with over 13,000 excess winter deaths last reported by the ONS, the need for action is urgent.
Join us to learn how housing providers can best support vulnerable residents during these challenging months.
Can’t make it? No problem. Register to receive the recording.

This webinar is part of the Winter Warmth Network series - a campaign to help support vulnerable individuals and families to find financial support this winter, by uniting support organisations and raising awareness of the 2,500 support schemes available for the most vulnerable in our communities.
