Introducing the Lightning Reach Portal
The Lightning Reach portal uses trusted and secure technology to make it easy to find and apply for financial support. We’re collaborating with a range of partners across the UK so you can apply for personalised support from multiple providers, whenever you need it.
How does it work?
An easy 3-step process to find and apply for support from a single portal. It’s free, secure and takes just minutes to complete.
Create a one-time profile which can be used to access a range of support
Check if you are eligible to apply for support from one or more of our providers
Provide supporting evidence and submit your application for available support
We currently have over 1,500 support schemes on the portal and will continue to add new providers over time.
Check if you’re eligible to apply for any of their support by signing up and completing your profile. In many cases you can apply for our partners' support schemes directly through the portal, and for other schemes you can apply through their own websites. Our partners include the following:

Are you a support worker or agency?
This version of the application portal is set up for individuals to complete a profile and apply for support directly. If you are a support worker or agency you are welcome to signpost your clients to try the portal, or to assist them in completing a profile and application.
